The Lamberton Conservatory
A unique indoor botanical garden that offers gorgeous flowers all year round. The varied sights make an ideal background for wedding pictures. The recently installed kitchen combined with the historical value of the Conservatory make it the perfect spot for a ceremony or small reception.
The Lilac Arches
This large outdoor space, located in Highland Park (off Highland Avenue) includes beautiful lilac colored arches, brick pathways and flowering trees in an open air setting. This space will accommodate larger groups (up to 200), for pictures. Electricity, water and flush toilets are available.
The Sunken Garden
This historic location is reserved exclusively for photographs. The unique greenery and exquisite architecture provide a stunning background. The Sunken Garden is located behind the Warner Castle, in Highland Park (off Reservoir Avenue).

Set into the banks along the Genesee River, the Chapel is distinguished by its elegant stained glass dome. The wooden arched seating design allows for an intimate feel whether your guest number is large or small. The specially designed contemporary teak wood pipe organ is the focal point of this simple sanctuary setting.
Inside the chapel, the Main Sanctuary seats up to 500 people, has handicap accessible seating,and an infrared assistive listening device system. This area features a Casavant Freres Pipe Organ, baby grand piano, full size screen and sound system. The middle level houses the Chapel Staff as well as the Commons Room Lounge and a small meditation room. The River Level room accommodates 180 for luncheons and up to 300 for services, lectures and concerts.

Sonnenberg offers wedding ceremonies of varying sizes to accommodate as few as a dozen guests up to several hundred to witness you taking your vows.
All couples are welcome to choose our primary ceremony site with its formal, traditional ambience for wedding ceremonies of any size. When planning a small ceremony, for 40 guests or fewer, some of our outlying gardens may be used as an alternate location in which to create an intimate, cozy feel.
Large wedding ceremonies, accommodating 50 – 250+ guests, can be located at either the primary Pergola site for a ceremony with a traditional, formal style, or the Beech Tree Plateau site, where a simple grass plateau, with a large, red-leaf Copper Beech Tree stands behind and other trees grace the sides creating a natural “stage” with impressive views for up to 400 guests.
